Obedience to God is not an option—it is a requirement for experiencing His blessings. Deuteronomy 28:1-2 tells us, “If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all his commands, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations on earth. All these blessings will come on you and accompany you if you obey the Lord your God.”
Many times, we desire God’s blessings but struggle with following His instructions. Whether it’s forgiving someone, stepping out in faith, or staying steadfast in our devotion, obedience is key.
The life of Jesus exemplifies perfect obedience. Even unto death, He submitted to the will of the Father. If we want to walk in divine favor, we must follow Christ’s example by obeying God’s Word in every aspect of our lives.
